Going abroad

How to apply to studiying abroad ?

Two types of mobility are available: an internship abroad or an exchange partnership.
Information such as destinations, required documents, and student testimonials can be found on the International Relations website. We are also happy to welcome you for an individual appointment if you have any questions regarding your mobility, and we remain available by email. You will then need to complete the application form and the provisional study plan, and send the documents to us by email.
When should you prepare your mobility application ?

A mobility project must be planned one year in advance, and applications are submitted online. Two application periods take place during the academic year : before January 30 (outside Europe) and March 30 (Europe) for a departure in the first semester of the following year, and before June 30 (outside Europe) and September 30 (Europe) for a departure in the second semester.
What are the possible destinations ?

The University of French Polynesia offers a wide range of destinations in Europe and beyond. The options vary depending on your field of study and academic level. The list of partner universities is available on our website under the section Partenaires et réseaux.
When can you go on mobility, and for how long ?

Mobility is possible starting from the second year of a Bachelor’s degree, but it is more strongly recommended during the third year or at the Master’s level. It can last for one semester or for a full academic year. Students may also go abroad several times during their studies.
