UPF allows you to complete part of your studies abroad thanks to cooperation agreements signed with partner universities.
PREPARING AND REFINING YOUR PROJECT
A mobility project must be planned at least one year in advance. Carefully preparing your stay increases your chances of successfully carrying out your mobility project and, in some cases, obtaining financial support (International Mobility Grant and/or Erasmus+ allowance). Indeed, you will need to ensure that you can financially support yourself once you are abroad.
ADVANTAGES AND SUPPORT FOR MOBILITY
At the host university
You benefit from
-
exemption from tuition fees for one or two semesters;
-
access to courses within a study program (4 to 5 subjects per semester for international mobility);
-
the possibility of accommodation in a university residence;
-
the same rights as full-time students enrolled at the host university.
Thanks to UPF
You benefit from:
-
paying the regular tuition fees at UPF, where you remain enrolled;
-
assistance with the administrative procedures related to your project abroad;
-
if you are a scholarship holder: you keep your scholarship under the same conditions as if you were continuing your studies at UPF;
-
recognition of your study period abroad if you pass your exams, in accordance with the learning agreement established before departure.
Going to Europe with ERASMUS+

Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, you have the opportunity to complete part of your university studies in Europe, either through a study exchange or an internship. From the second year of your Bachelor’s degree (L2), you can go abroad for a period of two to twelve months at a European higher education institution that has signed a cooperation agreement with UPF.
To discover the Erasmus+ partner universities, check the interactive map under the “Partner Universities” tab.
Below, you will find all the necessary information to prepare your mobility application.
Partir hors-europe
Some host universities require you to have obtained a sufficient score in an English language test such as TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
Students with special needs may benefit from additional financial support and reimbursement of “actual costs,” such as specific accommodation, assistance from a companion, medical follow-up, etc.
Make sure to prepare well in advance to register online, take the test, and provide your results when submitting your application file.
