Please note that the total duration of combined study and traineeship mobility must not exceed <strong data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"662\">12 months<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"876\">Students must carry out their physical mobility activity in a <strong data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"761\">programme or partner country<\/strong> that is different from both the sending institution\u2019s country and the country of residence during their studies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"1004\">For study mobility, the host institution must be a <strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"951\">partner university<\/strong> with which UPF has a <strong data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1001\">doctoral-level agreement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1011\" data-end=\"1038\"><strong data-start=\"1011\" data-end=\"1036\">Application procedure<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1776\">\n<li data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1171\">\n<p data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1171\"><strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1076\">Prepare your mobility project<\/strong><br data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1079\">Define your scientific and pedagogical objectives together with your thesis supervisor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1457\">\n<p data-start=\"1176\" data-end=\"1258\"><strong data-start=\"1176\" data-end=\"1209\">Compile your application file<\/strong><br data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1212\">Include the following official documents:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1457\">\n<li data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1292\">\n<p data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1292\">completed application form<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1296\" data-end=\"1302\">\n<p data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1302\">CV<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1306\" data-end=\"1327\">\n<p data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1327\">motivation letter<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1378\">\n<p data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1378\">invitation letter from the host institution<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1382\" data-end=\"1457\">\n<p data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1457\">document confirming validation of the project by your thesis supervisor<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1610\">\n<p data-start=\"1462\" data-end=\"1610\"><strong data-start=\"1462\" data-end=\"1489\">Submit your application<\/strong><br data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1492\">Send your complete file to us. candidates taking part in Erasmus+ mobility receive a grant to help cover part of their travel and living expenses.\n\nIndicative amounts (subject to change by the European Commission):&nbsp;<div><br><\/div><div>Short-term mobility: around \u20ac70 per day&nbsp;<\/div><div>Long-term mobility: between \u20ac360 and \u20ac480 per month, depending on the host country&nbsp;<\/div><div>&nbsp;<\/div><div>Additional financial support may be available for:\n\ndoctoral candidates with disabilities or special needs;\n\nstudents from outermost regions (such as plan)<\/strong>, validated by the Doctoral School, the thesis supervisor, and the host institution.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"280\" data-end=\"380\">At UPF, there is no official <em data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"331\">\u201cEuropean Doctorate\u201d<\/em> label. However, Erasmus+ mobility periods can:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"598\">\n<li data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"448\">\n<p data-start=\"383\" data-end=\"448\">be included in the doctoral candidate\u2019s annual progress report;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"508\">\n<p data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"508\">be highlighted during individual monitoring committees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"598\">\n<p data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"598\">serve as an asset for publications, the academic CV, and future career
